The Philips DreamStation BiPAP autoSV is an auto servo-ventilation (ASV) device for adults with obstructive sleep apnoea and secondary central sleep apnoea or Cheyne-Stokes respiration.

Compatibility

  • Masks: masks recommended by Philips Respironics or your clinician.
  • Tubing: 22 mm or 15 mm standard tubing, or the HT15 heated tube.
  • Oxygen: with the Philips pressure valve (sold separately).
  • Power: Philips shielded DC cord and battery adapter cable (sold separately).

Important safety information. ASV therapy is contraindicated in patients with chronic, symptomatic heart failure (NYHA 2–4) with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF ≤ 45%) and moderate to severe predominant central sleep apnoea. Your doctor must assess you before you start ASV therapy.

About the modem. The DreamStation cellular modem uses the 3G network, which closed in Australia on 28 October 2024. Therapy data can still be shared through Bluetooth and the DreamMapper app, or with the SD card.

Prescription device. This device must be set up by your doctor or care provider to your prescribed settings. Use only vented masks recommended by Philips or your clinician.

Empty the humidifier tub each morning and wipe down weekly with CPAP-safe wipes. Replace the air filter every 30 days. Mask cushions every 1–3 months, tubing every 6 months — Subscribe & Save makes it automatic.

Warranty. 5-year Philips manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase from an authorised Philips dealer. The 5-year warranty does not cover modems or consumables (filters, masks, tubes and humidifier water chambers).

Returns. Change-of-mind returns within 30 days for unused, unopened items; opened or used machines may incur a 30% processing fee (see our returns policy). Faulty or major-failure items are covered under the Australian Consumer Law.

No — there's no legal prescription requirement to buy a CPAP in Australia. Your pressure settings should come from a sleep study, though. Upload your prescription and we'll pre-configure the machine free before dispatch.
