How selling your CPAP machine works

The process is designed to be quick and hassle-free. There's no obligation to proceed until you've seen and accepted our offer.

  1. Tell us about your machine. Fill out the online enquiry form with the make, model, approximate age and total run hours (shown on your device's hour counter), plus a note on its condition.
  2. Receive a quote. Our team reviews the details and emails you a fair, no-obligation offer based on the make, model and condition.
  3. Post it in securely. If you're happy with the offer, we'll send simple instructions for packing and posting your machine safely. Please don't send any equipment before you've received and accepted a formal offer.
  4. Get paid. Once your machine arrives, we inspect it (usually within a few business days). After it passes our checks, we pay you by your chosen method.

What machines do we buy?

We buy genuine, well-maintained CPAP and APAP machines from leading manufacturers that are in good working order and meet current standards. Newer models are in highest demand. Popular machines we're looking for include:

  • ResMed AirSense 11 series
  • ResMed AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 series
  • ResMed AirMini travel CPAP
  • Fisher & Paykel SleepStyle Auto CPAP
  • Löwenstein Prisma 20A APAP

Not sure if your machine qualifies? Submit the form anyway and we'll let you know. You can browse the kind of devices we stock and resell in our CPAP machines and auto CPAP (APAP) machines collections.

How we work out your machine's value

Two things mostly determine what we can offer:

FactorWhat we look at
Make and modelNewer models with advanced features are valued higher. For example, a ResMed AirSense 11 typically holds more value than an AirSense 10 because of its updated technology.
ConditionMachines that are well looked after, with minimal wear, are preferred. Total run hours from the device's blower-hour counter also matter. For hygiene reasons, we can't accept machines that carry odours from smoking environments.

A quick note on what we currently buy: we focus on newer CPAP and APAP models from top manufacturers such as ResMed, Fisher & Paykel and Löwenstein. We're not buying BiPAP machines at this time. If you're unsure, just ask.

Why sell to us

  • Fair, competitive payouts for machines in good condition.
  • A simple, no-pressure process with a real consultant you can talk to.
  • You help someone else access more affordable therapy equipment.
  • It's better for the environment — keeping a working device out of landfill.
  • Trusted local team — 4.7★ from 987 reviews, with a physical store in Elizabeth, SA.

Trade in and upgrade

Selling your old machine is also a smart way to fund an upgrade. If you're moving to a newer device, ask us about applying your payout toward a new machine and the accessories that go with it. It's worth refreshing your mask and cushions when you upgrade — our mask finder can help you match the right fit.

Prefer to deal with us in person?

You're welcome to talk to a real CPAP consultant before you decide. Visit our Elizabeth store or get in touch through our help centre. We're Adelaide-based and ship Australia-wide.

Thinking about whether you still need therapy?

This page is general information about selling equipment, not medical advice. If you're upgrading, replacing or stopping CPAP therapy, talk to your GP or a sleep clinician first — they can advise on your pressure settings and whether your therapy needs have changed. Our clinical partner CLM Sleep offers sleep studies and clinical support if you'd like a current assessment.

Frequently asked questions

What types of CPAP machines do you buy?
We buy most CPAP and APAP machines in good working order that meet current standards, with newer models in highest demand — including the ResMed AirSense 11, AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10, ResMed AirMini, Fisher & Paykel SleepStyle Auto and Löwenstein Prisma 20A. We're not currently buying BiPAP machines. Submit the form and we'll confirm if yours qualifies.
How do I send my machine in?
Don't post anything until you've received and accepted a formal offer from us. Once you accept, we'll send simple instructions for packing your machine securely so it arrives safely. If you're local, you're also welcome to bring it to our Elizabeth store.
How quickly will I get paid?
After your machine arrives, we inspect it — usually within a few business days. Once it passes our checks, we process payment by your chosen method. Including time for the inspection, most sellers are paid within a couple of weeks of posting their device.
How will I be paid?
We pay by direct bank transfer to your nominated Australian account, or by PayPal. Just include your preferred method and accurate payment details when you send your machine so there are no delays.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. There are no hidden fees — you receive the full amount we quote and you accept, with no deductions.
What condition does my machine need to be in?
It should be in good working order with minimal wear and clean of any smoking-related odours, which we can't accept for hygiene reasons. We also consider the total run hours shown on the device's hour counter. Well-maintained, newer machines attract the best offers.
