The Philips DreamStation CPAP Pro HumidHT Cellular by Philips Respironics is a single pressure device equipped with 4G modem and Bluetooth wireless technology and pressure relief features, aimed at offering a gentler therapy experience with tracking capabilities. When connected, the machine and humidifier work together to deliver warm air from the water chamber into the therapy air. Utilise the wireless technology to link the machine to a personalised DreamMapper app account for convenient result tracking on your smartphone or tablet.
Philips DreamStation 4G cellular modem comes with a five-year connectivity plan that begins on the date of first use. “First use” refers to when you first power on the embedded modem and connect it to the cellular network. DreamStation’s 4G cellular modem is designed to record the first time it connects to the cellular network and track connectivity for the subsequent 5 years.
The 4G cellular modem is an optional accessory. After the five-year connectivity period ends, the modem will no longer transmit data via the cellular network. The DreamStation device will continue to operate and store therapy data without the modem.
You can continue sharing therapy data with sleep therapy providers using:
+ Bluetooth connectivity together with the DreamMapper app.
+ The SD card included with the DreamStation device. In addition, DreamStation device will store the last 6 months of therapy data
Heated Humidifier
The DreamStation Heated Humidifier is an accessory crafted to alleviate dryness and nasal congestion associated with sleep therapy. By combining the machine and humidifier, users can enjoy the comfort of warm air during CPAP therapy. A unique 'Preheat' function allows the water chamber to warm up 30 minutes before use, ensuring optimal comfort. Ensure the blower is off and the humidifier is connected before activating this feature.
Adjustments to tube temperature and humidification settings can be made during operation using the control dial. Additionally, the Adaptive mode can be activated to monitor ambient humidity levels and automatically adjust heat settings for ideal humidification while minimising condensation.
Bluetooth Connection to DreamMapper App
The DreamStation Pro Fixed CPAP machine comes equipped with integrated Bluetooth connectivity, enabling seamless pairing with the DreamMapper mobile and web-based platform. Activate the Bluetooth functionality and install the SleepMapper app on a compatible smartphone or tablet (not included) to start examining comprehensive sleep data. Utilise the free app to access nightly results conveniently through a personalised account on your handheld device. Please note that the sleep results can only be viewed on one device at a time.
Ramp and SmartRamp: Both the Ramp and SmartRamp features are designed to ease the user into CPAP therapy gradually.
C-Flex Technology: C-Flex Technology provides pressure relief by offering three settings (1 through 3) for varying levels of pressure reduction during exhalation.
LCD On-Screen Display: The DreamStation Series features a user-friendly LCD screen that adjusts its brightness based on ambient light conditions. Please note that the screen does not support touch input and is controlled using the dial.
Sleep Results Display: The on-screen interface displays sleep therapy results and goals. The "Three Night Summary" shows progress after the first three nights, while daily compliance results are indicated by colour-coded bars.
Respironics Dry Box Design: The Dry Box technology prevents water damage by containing any water that may escape from the humidifier chamber within the unit, using a one-way valve to prevent water from entering the machine.
System One Resistance Control: This feature allows the DreamStation to recognise the mask's resistance control number, ensuring accurate pressure delivery. It is compatible only with Philips CPAP masks.
