Change-of-Mind Returns
- Unused & unopened, in original packaging, within 30 days of purchase: full refund of the product price. Original shipping is non-refundable.
- Opened or used equipment: a 30% processing fee applies and a credit for the remaining amount is issued. Shipping is non-refundable.
- For hygiene reasons this does not apply to ResMed AirTouch N20 & F20 masks, sleepPro Contour, Bongo Rx, Nightshift devices and CPAP pillows — these can only be returned where the packaging is still intact.
Change-of-mind returns are offered in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (below) and don't limit them.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If an item is faulty, arrives damaged, or isn't what you ordered, we'll make it right under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Contact us as soon as possible — and within 2 business days for transit damage or a wrong/missing item, with a photo of the parcel and label where relevant.
- Claims are assessed by CDW and, where applicable, the product's manufacturer under the manufacturer's warranty conditions.
- You cover the cost of returning the item to us. If the item is confirmed faulty or a major failure, we will refund your return postage and provide a replacement or refund.
Warranty
- CPAP machines: 2-year manufacturer warranty (many models offer an optional extension of up to 3 further years).
- Masks & accessories: 3-month manufacturer warranty.
- Out-of-warranty repairs are processed with the goods returned to CDW at the purchaser's expense. A free loan machine is provided for machines purchased at a CDW clinic; fees apply otherwise.
These manufacturer warranties are in addition to — and don't replace — the consumer guarantees below, which may apply for longer depending on the product and its price.
Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
How to Start a Return
- Contact us on 08 8166 0816 or contact@cpapdiscount.au with your order number.
- We'll confirm whether your item is eligible and send return instructions.
- Pack the item securely — in its original packaging for change-of-mind returns.
- Post it to the returns address below. Once received and assessed, approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5 business days (change-of-mind credit where applicable).
